Excerpts from Jonathan Cainer

Is it time to make a clean break with a part of your past? Today's solar eclipse is especially auspicious for all who have been thinking about doing things differently. Just make a small but sincere gesture of commitment to your new plan at some point during the next 24 hours. You may also find the eclipse is good for making wishes and healing wounds. I'm currently testing out various traditional beliefs about the way in which eclipses influence us... so if today's events happen to leave you with an exceptional tale to tell, please drop me a line! (Email: feedbackforum@bubble.com)For an interesting animated graphic showing the path of the eclipse - click hereIf you'd like to supply some Eclipse feedback...please keep a little diary of your day. Write down anything significant that happens to - or around - or within you during the next 24 hours. Then send it to me in e-mail along with a little personal information. Where and when were you born? Where were you when the eclipse took place? Did you actually notice it happening? Any other background factors about your life that might prove relevant? I'd like to study all the replies and then share some of the most interesting stories here on this web site. Please therefore, state whether youa) don't mind your story appearingb) don't mind as long as any details that could identify you are kept privatec) don't want ANY of what you are telling me to be public. If it's a) you may also like to attach a little photo of yourself! Email: feedbackforum@bubble.comMany astrological traditions say that an eclipse can have an impact on your life up to THREE MONTHS after the event takes place. If you do contribute to this service, whether privately or publically, I may drop you a further e-mail in three months to ask if there's been any change that you can directly connect to today's eclipse. Please don't expect a personal reply to contribution. I'll definitely read it... but I simply may not have time to thank you personally.

Thought for the Day: Today's total solar eclipse begins in Brazil, then skims across the Atlantic to Niger, Chad and Libya where it will reach maximum totality at 5:11 a.m. ET. It then catches the corner of Egypt, speeds between Crete and Cyprus, and carries on to the Black Sea.

Excerpt from Penny Thornton
27th March 2006 - 2nd April 2006
March came in with a blast from Uranus and it's going out on a total solar eclipse, so uneventful is not how I'd describe these last few weeks. Despite my being a fiery Aries, I enjoy slipping into the slow lane of life from time to time, and this just hasn't been possible recently, I've been racing in ten directions at once. Nevertheless, I have been able to try out my latent diplomatic skills and discovered another useful practice - compromise. So, as we turn the corner into April, should you be like me a little bruised and battered, let's not forget the words of that ultimate Aries heroine, Scarlett O'Hara - tomorrow is another day!

Daily Cosmic Calendar

It's nearly impossible to offer a simple interpretation for today's cosmic proceedings. Two of the most potent events that can occur from the astrological vantage point are a Total Solar Eclipse and a station of the outermost planet, Pluto. The fact that they are both happening today and within less than 3 hours of each other is truly remarkable. The Total Solar Eclipse -- energizing 9 degrees of Aries -- occurs at 2:13AM PST. The Full Moon that is part and parcel of this alignment happens just 3 minutes later. The Pluto station and turn from direct to retrograde strikes at 4:39AM PST and activates 27 degrees of Sagittarius -- a zodiacal placement that just happens to coincide with the center of our Milky Way Galaxy, our celestial home. [Pluto stays in reverse until September 4 when it will go direct again at 25 degrees of Sagittarius.] All Pluto themes -- death and rebirth, metamorphosis and transformation, the underworld, mysteries and secrets, extremism of any kind, nuclear energy and terrorism, lasers in medicine and technology, willpower and spiritual purpose, the creator and destroyer principles -- are potent now and for the next couple of days. Once all is said and done, and you move into the late morning and afternoon hours, shake off all the psychic hassles that have been bothering you for the last few weeks. Chase away the moody blues and offer a toast to better times that can unfold during the 30-day solar-lunar cycle just getting started. You want to put your best foot forward in a wide variety of fields and enterprises close to your heart.
